You got the life we all want Dave..
While I am happy for them, I am not sure I want that much winter.
How thick is your ice up there Drifter? We never really had a winter here in VT this year, ice fishing season was wicked short. It has felt like spring for about the last 2 months......thanks for the pictures
Not very thick this year, been very warm so we only have about 3 feet or so.
Still good ice in Manitoba too...
28" on the nose, shade under 10lb. Three in this range this day, lots of smaller eaters. Lake Winnipeg has put out hundreds this winter like this, about a dozen in the13-15 pound range.
That's incredible keep up the good work and the water clean of the nasty critters. The critters are now in our lakes here in Madison.
Suddenly the season's over in Whitehorse! A high of 17C lasted well into the evening yesterday. We still talked about it, but we're giving it up.We were jigging burbot in this area with zero overflow 10 days ago!http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/yukon-snowmobile-on-water-lake-laberge-1.3514740
