Bait Dye?

(1/2) > >>

stinkyfingers:
Any of you guys ever use a bait dye on dead suckers or smelt through the ice? Just another gimmick or does it work to draw them in?

missoulafish:
i wont not dye my bait anymore....may be anecdotal but they catch way more than the natural selections..could be do to the brine smell too..

esox_xtm:
Thought about it but haven't tried that... yet. If I did I'd paint 'em with food coloring and use the brine that I know and trust (salt and a little water). The salt doesn't hurt and I believe it has actually increased my success with deads since I have started using that method of preservation.

missoulafish:
The pautzke stuff works great and it really make the baits pop!!

Before I Google it...where do you get it and what color do you use most ?
