I hope you guys are right, but the 15 day forecast isn't looking too swift, not that you can believe them anyways.  Hopefully it changes soon.

Yeah I hear that, it is looking like there will be no cold weather untill at least the 22nd.  Even if they are off they would have to be WAY off and for some time, to do any good.  I'm still thinking positive, I just printed off my 2007 fishing license.

The ice that we did have on the local ponds are approx. 50% gone it by the end of today it should just about be all gone.

On the up side of things it will give me time to get my kitchen done and then to get my gear out.  I have both finger crossed for getting hard water sometime just after X-Mass.

I to have off from the 23rd trhough and including the 2nd in hopes of hitting hard water.

Not an ice report but since the ice is all gone and looks like it'll stay that way until atleast the end of the month, I'll atleast give a glimpse of the fishing that can still be had. Hit up the Susky for about an hour and a half with Icemusky and we easily landed over 50 walleyes up to 21.5". Took 5 home for dinner. The rivers red hot right now with a lot more legal sized fish than in the spring.

Nice fish Mike.  I thought about doing a little of that myself.  I sure hope the ice comes around Christmas atleast, but if it doesn't, I guess I'll have some time to get out with my muzzleloader.

I'll be looking when it starts to get cold again, you can believe that.  I'm sure Pletch will be keeping his eyes open also, so if we do get ice, i'm sure you'll know.

I would guess that the small walleye would be just legal if it is. Judging it to the fork that is on the table( fork being 6" )

2007 1ST Perch 15 5/16"   2007 1ST Brown Trout 28 3/8"
2008 1ST BlueGill 10 7/8"

I drove by the dam the last three morning.  It was looking good for next weekend but it must of been windy last night because it lost a lot of its skim ice overnight. I guy told me that the stumps was locked down yesterday but I personally haven't been down to check.

All the lakes in wild acres are locked up... Didn't get a chance to drill a hole yet, but I did throw some rocks out and it seems like the ice is at least an inch or two... nice deep duds were made when I threw the rocks.

I'm locking this topic. Please post in the PA reports and conditions area for the lake or body of water you fish.
