what are the best panfish people have caught and or seen from this lake.......

there are crappie... think both white and black although far more white from what i recall..... bluegill and red eared sunfish.. maybe there are others too

The nursery sits on the same side and very near the Twin Kiss. The nursery is at the crossroads and you want to turn opposite of the nursery. There was a sign right there for his shop.

Looking at long range fir cast, if it doesn't happen this week I may not happen at all . A lot of days with highs in forties if you believe the long range.

How many of you also fish this lake during warm weather?

The 10 day forecast doesn't show anything like that, it's not supposed to get above freezing at all until next Tuesday (35) and Wednesday (34) but the night time lows are still into the low 20's. Unless it gets real warm and rainy soon after we should be fine.

Oh don't say that!. I know next week there's a little warm up, but it won't get much direct sun givin the angle of it now.. plus by the time it reaches 37-38* the sun will start setting anyway and the night time temps will help keep it fishable..You gotta have faith brother!

Helll its been so long since i cut a hole in the ice... let me put it this way stone valley was still full of water...

I am a bit aprehensive getting back out there at age of 45... five kids etc...and all.... First trip this weekend might be just to see what is going on.... watch others fish.

If it ices up hard i might rent one of the lodge rooms or two and bring the entire fam... they can sled etc.... cant let the wife she looks better then i do and catches more fish....
