Temps are getting down into the high 20's here in central pa, blackie's the first to freeze, god I can't wait it's killing me.

3 feet makes a huge difference in this lake.

Due to needed dam & boat launch repairs; the level of the lake will be drawn down 3 feet starting August 23, 2010 until at least November 2010. At this time the beach will be closed to swimming and the boat launches will be closed.

Blackie where I usually fish it is probably going to be 3-4' deep if they don't get done this month. I have 2 new toys this year a Marcum lx-5, showdown is for sale. and a used Icegator auger look out John T. ya got competition now.

I just got my new pro TC yesterday. Sold the Guide to a buddy. I hope i can bring myself to put the screws in the U channel that holds the canvas to the sled before we get ice! I cringe at the thought of putting screws through the cover!

Watch the cold air come in big time after this week gang... if you can wait about 10 - 14 days.. we are going to have some very very cold air around. Maybe this is the year i finally get my now 12 year old on some of those sayers dam crappie and perch... we dont eat them but would not mind cathing a few...
