I'm heading to Sayers tomorrow morning with a friend. He will probably want to stop by Rich's so we will be there shortly after 7. Don't catch 'em all before we get there  ;D

Doesn't seem to be many perch around either. Last Sunday we caught 37 fish and only one was a perch.
There is no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid people who ask questions.

We had the same results yesterday. Caught a fair amount of Crappie in stained water (only 1 legal) and two perch...no gills. I did catch one Crappie with a big chunk meat out of it tail. The Muskies must be hungry.

They look like stoneflies, I was at kettle creek one year and they were coming through the holes in the ice pretty thick

ya i saw them to at sayer.at first i thought my girl had enough of fishing an was going to put an end to it an me. but coffee was fine. these larva are drawn up to the surface due to the light. i know it sounds weird but it don't matter how cold out it is it is water temp that startes the hatch.the ones at sayer are olive colored with a black head i tied some to try hey john t hows the cove treating you now.i been fishing for musky on the main lake

there's a little over a foot to go for the draw down. it's looking a little sad in the cut.
