I've seen lots of different vehicles and modes of transportaion in variuos picture posts, just thought I'd see what everyone uses on the ice.

While I dont have a light one I have a ford ranger that has graced the ice once. (I am actually not in the pic, my friend and his uncle are) taken a year or two ago on lake george.

Chucker doesnt have a light one either, but it worked on Lake George this past weekend

hey alaskan dreams nice pic of the ranger, but i'm awefully carefull around that pressure ridge at the mouth of the narrows.

We were really careful. The one with my ranger was taken on Sunday, March 02, 2003, My friends uncle took us out to his spot for the day. I definitely wouldn't have driven out that far if we were alone, but we watched him drive across first and he was a very regular on the lake, (has a permanent shanty out there.) There also seemed to be a lot more ice then then there was this year. I am not one to take chances when it involves falling through the ice so I made sure that everything would be ok before I even thought about following him out that far.

The Situation dosen't look to bad but the frame was hung up pretty good... Heres a picture of my crazy passenger Coldbum Drinking some moon shine.... They call The stuff " Tangle Foot" and trust me the name suits the drink

what are they feeding that horse? There is alot of amish on the ice here in pennsylvania, nice people.

Just a guess Chucker, but I don't think thats a horse...I could be wrong. I'm not a horse or a mule expert...fishy might know, ask her....

Mine is the yellow Polaris, notice how much meaner it looks than the Kawasucki!

That was back in December on the Sacandaga, now it's covered with snow. No chains though and they get around pretty good, it's really slick on the glare ice though!

My new ride on the ice. 2005 Bombardier 650 Traxter. I just sold my 2003 Bombardier XL Traxter for this one. Would have prefered a different color but its all they had in the XT model (winch, heavy bumpers, better tires). Couldnt order one because the dealer was going out of business and sold me this one for dealer cost. Couldnt pass a deal like that.
