Title: New Guy Introducing myself.
Post by: frineer on Jan 19, 2019, 07:30 AM: Hi all my name is Frank and am new to the site. Got back into ice fishing last Janurary and really enjoyed it. Now hoping to make some contacts and hopefully some friends that I can get all the information they are willing to share. Santa brought me an Eskimo ice shany and really want to get out this year even if its just one time. So come on guys teach this noob. HAHAHAHA.

I am also a new guy here. I live about 5 miles from High Point lake. Ive been hardwater fishing for a few years and really enjoy it for multi species of fish.

My parents live just outside towanda. I'm up this weekend and will be heading out tomorrow to try my luck. Shoot me a message and we can compare notes and I'm always looking to meet new people out on the ice.

Sounds like you have all the right equipment. And you're in a good area. Review the area reports and pick a pond. Enjoy...

Post by: frineer on Feb 09, 2019, 09:52 PM: Well I was able to put in two good days last weekend. Had a blast. Used mostly tip ups and the bit was steady most of the day. Just sucks that the weather got warm and am hoping to get out one more time before the hard water is gone. I picked a pond in Northern Bradford county and like I said had a blast.
