It's been 1 year now of me being on IceShanty.  It's great how much I've picked up by reading & sharing information with everybody on here.  Yes, about 40-50% of posts are just BS & boredom from not being on any ice, but what a great tool this site is!

I can't agree more, I'd much rather spend my time on here when I'm on a computer than spending my money on ebay or on myspace or something.

i've been a shanty member on the new style boards since 2003. i've been coming here for a good deal longer than that too. always been a great place to hang out and stay out of trouble, or if you are like my get into trouble when you order too many jigs.

good to have you aboard jimmy, i better see you on the ice this sunday ! you know where i'll be !

John, I'm going to call you after work today.  I'm still planing on going out!  What time are you going out?  Just cleaned up all my spikes & waxies from my Vado's order that was on my door when I got home!
