I'm pretty sure that applies to live bait only. I believe dead baitfish can be used from anywhere.

You can try it BUT the game warden won't agree ! :)

I went by willoughby today. At the boat launch there is a bobhouse about 100 feet off shore and someone else had drilled holes about 100 yards out. South end has spotty snow so it's making good ice. The state no longer plows out the parking spot by Devils Rock but they plow out the smaller spots along the lake. I'm not sure why because that was a good spot to get on the lake from and would hold 4-5 cars. South end by the nude beach is all frozen chop and looks like some rough for walking ,sledding or wheelers. I'll wait a week before hitting it but I'm sure there will be folks all over it on Sat.

Glad the ice was good with the weather last week there was no doubt there would be at least that much ice! Willo always builds fast. This wind will hopefully clear it back off and get us into truck territory. I saw people were parking on the ice over the weekend (pics on Facebook), the bravery of the kingdom folks never ceases to amaze me.

Driving on Willoughby with 6 inches of ice covered by a foot and half of snow is something I will not be doing this
season.

Anyone been by the north beach? Never shacked up on that end, but if I can get over the snowbank with my hard side I want to put it out Friday.
