Willoughby openening weekend.
« on: Jan 23, 2018, 03:25 PM »
So I fished willoughby Saturday and Sunday. Both days off the boat ramp Saturday in 60 fow.  With a few tip ups fpr salmon and jigging for Lakers. I had a dreadfully slow day.  I had three followers. No takers. Game warden checked bait and licences about 9 am or so.

Ice was 8 inches thick both days.

Sunday was better in 80fow I managed three small lakers all on bottom on tubes.  Biggest was 23 inches all back down the hole...  No game warden Sunday.  I look out my shanty at noon to see a white pickup 20 yards from me. I quickly checked my hole and yes 8 and a quater inches of ice.  Wow crazy.
