5 am i don't know if my clock has a 5 am this time of the year, hunting yes  fishing??

Supposed to be better parking this year.  Should be a good derby as long as this rain hardens up before the weekend.

After last year's parking issue, we have worked with the Town and the Land Owners to secure more parking. I'm sorry to hear that you won't be attending, but I'm more sorry to hear that you think there is a lack of ethics.  Please go to our web page at hornepondderby.com or to facebook for contact information and reach out to us.  We can only fix what we hear about.  Also, please keep in mind that we are a volunteer group doing the best that we can to make it the best derby that we can.  Thank you for your support in the past and hopefully you'll see your way clear to give it another try.

You won’t believe some of the door prizes that we have this year. We have over 125 to give away!  Thank you for your support in the past. Maybe we’ll see you this year?

The  prizes were great  but a lot of people were not happy that  you put a time limit on when you could  get them . As it stated in the Maine law book you have to be in sight of your traps. So to go check out the prize board  by law  you would have to pull your traps. you should of left the drawing board up until you started handing out the awards for the fish .

Definitely agree with this!!! Because a lot of people don't come off the ice til the derby is about to end!!
