Thinking of hitting Perkins Pond next week, never been there before? How is the fishing on it?

Is this for the Tournament up in the Beach Lake area? 

I've heard good things from some of the guys that go to it, but I've never fished it.

I heard that there are a lot of huge grass carp in there and you can catch them on tip-ups.  I guess you just wrap a green pipe cleaner on your hook and they hit like mad.
