Batterson Walleye
« on: Jan 18, 2018, 06:45 PM »
Ive been ice fishing a while but never fished for walleye or ice fished Batterson.

If the weather holds out for Monday evening Id like to give it a shot. Anyone in the area care to guide me a bit?  I have about 8-10 dozen shiners from sm/med to med/lg. All the bait is on me!!  Let me know if anyone would care to show me a thing or two.

Thanks Bryan

I cant go today, not that I would be much help!  If you do go let me any tips if you wouldnt mind. I still plan on going Monday eve, unless rain or the warmth ruins it. However, I wont go out at night by myself. I still have a ton of bait open and free should anyone want to join.

Slow night.....I got zip. Walked across the ice at one point (man they looked closer than they were) and met some fellow duck hunters, Dennis, Nick, I think the third guy was Ryan, and young Tucker.

How much ice was there before the rain? Anyone planning to check ice tomorrow? Thinking about making a afternoon/evening trip later in week but can't get there to scout it. Thx in advance
