« on: Jan 15, 2018, 04:45 PM »
I built a shack with free metal siding but its a couple different colors and will probably paint it this off season. I was wondering if anyone has any painting tips or any cool custom paint jobs on there shantys?

My first thought is anything "dark" acts as a solar collector.

Or you could make a deal with a local business to advertise for "promotional consideration".  ;) Heck, maybe you could get a free vinyl wrap from some ice fishing company just to be in front of their chosen audience. Just supposin'...
To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

I can relate. The sintra board I got to cover mine has the soothing colors of Lego.  Yellow, red, blue and green.  Good thing it was a good deal, unfortunately not free. If I paint some strategically placed  thin black lines on it, some little circles on the roof panels, it would resemble a large Lego structure.  Could be fun.

lol, yeah I could do a little advertising. I gotta wonder if it's just fishing brands that would be interested or anyone. Maybe I could score a beer brand with beer included  ::) Heck even a local grocery store, I can always eat.

Legos are cool, you would be up there with most creative
