It's on again, Kids ice fishing clinic at Frenchtown pond.

Here is more info on the Kids clinic.

Register 8:00am to 8:45am, short meeting, fishing at 9:00am.
Raffle drawing is at 1:00pm.
Bring gear if you have it, Have some to loan if needed.
Age 16yrs and under, boys and girls.
Chili and hot dogs will be served.

Hey,

Just an update on the kids clinic.
There is great prizes for the kido's coming in.
Have a few new sponsors I welcome to the event, just to name a few, Pautzke bait co, Jawjacker, Bass pro, thank you very much to all the great Sponsors.
Last year the kids all had a blast[ even with cold weather].
So bring out the kids, enjoy the day.
Would like to thank all the volunteers for their support and great help.

drove by Frenchtown pond this am ice has started on hwy. side and was still there at 2 pm. keep your fingers crossed.

My son was 3yrs old when he went to his first event there....now he's 5yrs. My twins girls will be 1yrs old and there first time! I think your will just be fine. Plenty of pre-drill holes and Steve and his crew make sure every kid has a rod/reel ready! Just hope it not 5degree out like last year! Lol!

I agree , please not 5* again.[ the kids were troopers, all of them stuck it out].
Kids are never to young to go fishing, [ or old for that mater].
Should have a lot of fun again.

Was out on the pond about a week ago. We found about 4-5 inches both in front of the dock and in front of the little pavilions to the west of that dock.

The kids clinic is a week from Sat.
It is Jan 20th at Frenchtown pond.
Will be on the west end this year by the big pavilion.
Sign up starts at 8:00am.
Returning boys and girls please bring your gear.
New comers I have some extra gear for you.
See you there, the Holes will be drilled and waiting for you.
Dogs are not allowed in the park[FWP]
