idea for portable

I've been thinking about building a portable shelter, i had an idea that i could take a piece of ply wood and put skis on the bottom then hinge a bigger piece on each of the long ends so that it folds out like an a frame,then velcoring hunting blind material on the open edges think it would work?

I already did and it looked algitht i just think that this would be cheaper, the lumber would cost the same but the blind would be expanive so i was just thinking of bying a sheet from basspro.
