Anyone know the ice conditions NEK?

  We have a trip planned for this weekend to Willoughby. Anyone know the conditions up there? How much snow, slush and ice?

Fished there last weekend, Willoughby has about 10-12 inches of ice with 6 inches of sluch on top you could walk on but, i wouldnt drive on the ice is getting soft with all this warm weather.

1 small laker 3 or 4 pounds, a bunch of smelt and 15 or so cusk, some guy caught a 20 pound lake there sunday

I fished there Saturday, one laker got caught just as I walked on at 4;30 and
that was it all day for a lot, lot of anglers. We fished smelt and jigged all
day aside from some  perch, no TRT..
