I can fix you right up Ryan. Toguebuster is right about being shallow though. There are some awful nice sized yellas in there. Won't be around tomorrow but will try to hook you up with parking tomorrow night. Bait right there too!  Remember, no size or bag on yellas. Fill freezer please. :flex: ;)2 >:D Rich

real shallow pond, you can chase flags all day there, lots of springs there be careful.  use to be able to park at the end of Fenway ave.

Fenway ave is where I always went in too, just follow the trail.  My buddy grew up there and we always fished it....got lots of HUGE yellows but that was about it.

ya, great warm water species fishing.

Fish where you see ledge on the shore line ;)

Only public access is from Fenway Road or the cape elizabeth land trust trail system.  No parking in the cul de sac on Fenway road, just on the side of the road.

bout' 5 minutes or less from my house ;D

I have fished Great Pond alot and I can tell you there are 2 points of access. One being Fenway Dr. and the other is the trail behind the little store in Cape Elizabeth. Both are about a 5 min. walk plus the lady that owns the store will deliver food to you on the ICE beer too.

There are alot of big Yellow Perch and there are also alot of Largermouth Bass. Fish the ledges on the far end of the pond if you want flags fish the other end of the pond. Also you can get bait right there on the pond.

There is also a festival tomorrow 3-4-07 for families and kids they have a bunch of games to be played and rides. Check it out. Remember to take a kid fishing.

Now can I get any info on Beech Hill Pond in Otis looking for a good access road for trucks.

Funny little pond only about six feet max depth spread traps out.don't forget jig rod. Bring big bait. There are lots huge pickerel there. Average two pound bass. Nice easy place.

About 5" when I was there 2 weeks ago.  Should be plenty after last night.  As was said earlier, bring some larger bait if you don't want to spend the day catching yellows and 10" pickerel.  Decent sized bass and pickerel should have no problem eating pike-sized bait.

Definitely 5 lb, heard rumors of bigger but never caught bigger myself or heard directly from sources I trust.  Haven't fished the pond this year, so not sure how it held up last winter.  I know there can be winter kill issues there.

there's gotta be 8lb+ in there I've seen and heard of too many 4-6 pounders to not think so.

Its a great place. Used to fish there in high school. Summer and winter. There is some huge bass in there. Right near the rocks is the deep pocket is where i would land them in winter, the rest is too shallow. There used to be 2 types on pickerl or pike in there, around 1999-2001. I remember catching 2 different types and was confused. I moved out of the area and have not fished it since. I do plan on going back some winter
