new record largemouth bass

everyone heard of the New Record Bass
apparently it was caught at Escandido...wherever that is
Old Record............22.4 oz.
New Record...........25.1o z.
old record stood since 1932
I thought for sure someone would have posted this by now.Im from Canada and ive allready heard.
So where is Escandido?

About 30 minutes north of San Diego, just east of Oceanside...lived there when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton.
