Building walleye structure

I would like to build a structure & sink it to the bottom
of the lake,24 feet down, I saved my christmas tree from last year any ideas on rules ,regulations,laws,ect.
I'm from MI. Thanks Cooley  :'(
How many men does it take to open a beer,

you had better check with the Michigan DNR before you do something like that. they may have certain rules in effect regarding such practices.

Tried calling the DNR, but of course its closed today.
I'll call monday,I'am pretty sure I cant do this but,it
doesn't hurt to ask.cooley :'(

Well after making a few calls,you can put a christmas
tree in the lake.But you have to fill out a permit,this
takes 30 to 60 days to process.Good to know. ;D

himo, Good one lol......the only hook i'll have is the one on the end of my ice rod sittin in the shanty,24 feet above the tree .

UCB is right, that what we use here in CNY. I caught a few eyes from rock piles we put there. :)
