Well it all depends on what you think is nice I guess.

Vast expanses of FLAT land interspersed with small mountain ranges.
In the summer it's hot, dry, and windy.
In the winter it's cold, dry, and windy.

Don't get me wrong, I spent the first 25 years of my life there and I love it.

Great place to hunt antelope, mule deer, and geese.
Within reasonable driving distance of hunting for elk, moose, goat, sheep.
Good fishing in the area for walleye, perch, northern pike, burbot, and trout.

Excellent place to play, great place to raise kids, nice place to live, tough place to make a livin.

I prefer Helena close to three great lakes and minutes from the mountains.

Can you be a little more specific on location?
Then I could give you a much better idea of what's available in the surrounding area.
