Dog Lake- between Hot Springs & Plains
« on: Dec 09, 2009, 05:19 PM »
Here are some pictures of Dog Lake, some call it Rainbow Lake, on 12-7-09. It looks like water from a distance with some slush floating on it. It's actually about 6 to 8 inches of crystal clear ice, probably more now, it's been below zero for a few days since these pictures. You can see the bottom quite nicely in the shallows.
I haven't fished here in years, it is on the REZ so the appropriate licensing is needed. I remember catching Yellow Perch and some Rainbows. I hope to get back there and drill some holes in the ice and catch something soon. I will let you guys know when I do. Adam.

I have some good friends that live in Ptown and I thought they told me there are pike in Dog lake, might be worth a try.
