Fished Lake Mitchell yesterday (2/24) with a buddy - 10" of good ice where we were at and no issues with shore ice, but cleats are definitely needed. Some keeper size perch kept us busy through the day, but had to work for 'em.
Didn't personally check the ice on Lake Cadillac, but saw a good number of people on the ice in a few different locations.

Still fishable ice on Mitchell as of today out on Big Cove - 7" and good shore ice off Torenta. S-L-O-W bite with lookers in every hole. Great day to be on the ice, though!
