One Last Kick at the Can

looks like we are winding down one awesome season here on Iceshanty.com   what a great group of anglers that make this one of the top boards here!!!...my congrats to all...weather forecast for Monday is looking very favourable......if any of the super members that have posted here would like to get together on either saturday.....or monday....let me know...kind of an informal last kick for some perch at Delta....Grump & Mountainmama   ;D ;D

   Hey grump, thanx for the invite , i would love to come but i am busy untill tuesday, i will be there on tuesday untill the season finishes.  Good Luck to you Guys that make it!!!! ;D ;D

Hoping to get together with Trophy Hunter either Tuesday or Wendsday of next week at Delta. At least he catches fish  ;)

AC....Lonnie....if you guys only need 10 perch.....thats only 5 minutes work at Delta.....I can FedEx or Purolator the fillets.....now thats saving gas money....Grump ;D ;D ;D

 5 minutes to catch 10 perch at Delta. Is the bite slowing down? :unsure: :unsure: :whistle: :whistle: Geez everyone I cannot believe how another great hardwater season has gone by. Good luck to everyone this weekend. Next weeks weather is suppose to be gorgeous. Took the wrong week off. :'( :'(

Having this as Easter weekend helps in my books...plans are to stick around the house Friday, get out somewhere Saturday, maybe get out Sunday, and after puttering around with trucks on Monday, heading out with Grump...still trying to narrow down the spot yet.

Depending on weather, I think I might try to take the family to Reynolds Ponds the first weekend of April to see if I can get some of them into some trout.  If nothing else, there'd be some fresh air.

So you are thinking of me having the family on the road around 6?  If it was just me, that wouldn't be a big problem...maybe they could meet me at Delta afterwards with the van...hmm.

Great idea I'm pretty sure I'm going to be out there on monday with yellowtail, joe10 and his little brother, and a few others.  ;D ;D
Sure wouldn't mind running into a few of you even just to shake your hands and say hi. Really thought I'd run into some of you there today.  :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I've got Monday tuesday and wednesday off and I'm working on getting a babysitter for at least two if not all three days I will try and get monday and tuesday for sure and work on wednesday sounds like fun!!!!!!!! 8)

For those of you relatively new to the site, you can always look for the SS Thriller on Monday.



Mind you, I won't be there really early as I'll be taking care of some business in Neepawa first...probably be mid-morningish by the time I get there.

BW, the photo was taken at Fort Whyte where adults must practice C&R...I caught a nice little pike that day.
