Nh Nautical charts/ lake maps
« on: Feb 25, 2018, 05:56 PM »
Can anyone suggests  any locally made Nautical charts of Nh lakes? Mainly for wall art but prefer black and white of individual lakes. Saw some at a kocal gallery but its out of business.  Thanks

Moultonborough old store has them in a side room. I believe they have Winni & Squam laminated full size maps.

Google Bizer lake maps. Check under listings winni on amazon. Wall art etc. F&G used to have black and white lake depth maps. This was before GPS etc. May still have some in storage - a real long shot. I imagine that they are long gone.

Patrick's Pub in Gilford has a map carved out of sheet of granite that looks pretty awesome.
I wonder what it would cost to commission something like that.
Theirs is a thin 2D hung up but how about a 3D with depth bathy cut in, maybe made into a glass or resin covered coffee table. So cool.

I've seen a 3D one made of i think paper of Newfound at the Bristol General Country Store. This post kinda reminded me of that, I think I'll buy one from there this year.

They aren't local, but if you're interested, carvedlakeart.com makes some REALLY cool wooden 3D lake maps. Kinda stumbled on it by mistake. They are pricey, ~$350 for a Winnipesaukee map, but it appears you get what you pay for. Incredible detail and I think they are gorgeous!

Lakesofwood.com also has some beautiful wooden 3D maps. I actually like theirs better but they don't offer a Winni map  :'(
