This winter I spent a lot of time fishing stocked trout. I don't like naming lakes bc they are small, but if you spend the time they can be good. I fished trout 13 full days and caught 17 trout. It was worth it as I got a nice trout in all 5 species in one winter.
Rainbow, 25 inch
Brown, 22 inch
Tiger, 22 inch
Splake, 20 inch
Brook, 17.5 inch

Time is the key. And wake up way too early. If I'm fishing trout, I always like to be set up in the dark.
