Nils hand auger
« on: Jan 14, 2013, 06:50 PM »
I brought a nils 8 inch hand auger. The first couple holes it worked fine. From then on it drills the first cupole of inches fine and from there on it is a pain. Can not figure out what I m doing wrong, I use both arms when drilling. Any suggestions would be greatly apprciated and thank you.

What do u mean its a pain? A little more description would b nice. I know sometimes mine will just scratch the surface up a lil if I am not drilling straight down.

Sounds like the blades are at the wrong pitch/angle.Get a hold of Nils and I am sure they will help you. Paul
