I second with ice junky They are amazing! The ones I have are a little larger than I would like(the hook) They seem like they single out bigger fish. Miss alot of little guys but who wants wet hands from a little guy? LOL

Too many variables to consider one color fits all situations. Have seen the prefered color/size/shape/bait change a few times in a couple of hours on a fairly decent trip, not sure why but if they're down there they'll USUALLY hit something. Not many of us will go thru 2dz of anything in a year. Suggest 2 or 3 each in different colors and sometimes more importantly different sizes. Marmooskas are decent little baits.

Have you had any luck using these for trout and if so what size and color would you recommend? I went to the site but didn't see where I could buy the marmish maggots in specific colors. Looked like they just come in three packs.

I must have some other brand but it looks identical. It has the segmented wormlike look. Sure they would  work for trout!

What ever the other guy is using, I seem to have the wrong color on most of the time and need to change.  I like to have a wide range of tear drops, color, size and type

Depends on the variables (time of day, water clarity, etc).  I will say that in dark water or at night that blue glow works really well and red or pink glow does too.  During the day or in clearer water ive had some success with multiple color combinations.  Linked is a couple of my favorite hortizontal gill lures.

If you want a really good marmish lure to try, try the barley. In any size i always hammer panfish with them, its my go to lure if others arent working.

in the tackle making industry the fish they try to catch are the ones with two legs and hair ( in most cases anyway, for the hair)  i believe that color has something to do with it but i believe that presentation has more to do with it. whatever it is you are using study up on it and work it in a bathtub and see what strikes your fancy.
summers over i finally get to do some fishin!

Most of my ice fishing is done in NE Ohio inland lakes.  I fish in waters less than 25 ft.  Water clarity has improved since the invasion of the zebra mussels.  The last 3 years, I've had better luck with the somber colors... blue, purple & black.  In the past with waters murky, I did better with orange & chartruse, but I think the clearer water has turned the gills into a more finicky fish to catch.

i prefer the marmish fang but i don't use their rod, that thing is simply too small, maybe not for ice fishing, but i still prefer not to use it.

YOU MIGHT BE FROM MICHIGAN IF...
1. if you define summer as 3 months of bad sledding.
2. if you've ever experienced frostbite and sunburn in the same week.
3. if your favorite holiday's are Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the first day of deer season
