A close friend of my family fled Russia with her family when the WALL came down..  She's a little in distress.  She says she's seen all this before, and thought she was leaving all this stuff behind in Russia, only to come here and see how the U.S. is little by little moving toward a Socialist nation.  (NOT GOOD PEOPLE)

When our country was first founded we were governed by the Articles of Confederation.  This type of taxing of other states was very prevalent.  That was one of the reasons for James Madison to write the Constitution.  The Constitution specifically prohibits this type of tax.  Maybe Mass. should leave the U.S.(or have they already?).  "As for me, give me liberty or give me death."  Seems ironic that the Revolution started in Mass. and now this return to tyranny.  Sorry, I got carried away.

I'm from Mass (and NOT proud of it) and am embarrased that our governor would even consider this...
What's next? taxing the liquor purchased at NH liquor stores over the border too.  I can only hope this doesn't go through because of the precendence it would set.  Duval is the classic flaming liberal.

Anyways, to end of a better note...good luck to those in the derby this weekend.  Hope the weather is good!

That is rediculous, along with his assanine sweet tax, whats next?  The liberals are getting worse and worse every day and it sickens me, this fool we have in office now is the crowning jewel.  I've been buying guns and ammo over the last month and a half like it was my job cause he's gonna try to make it almost impossible to be able to afford them.  He's already created a bill thats in front of congress that would require every gun owner in America to have a federal fid card.  I only hope we can survive the next 4 years and when it hits the fan all I will have to say is "I told you so!"

I heard about this today, I would be surprised if this was to be upheld, even if it gets my the Mass Supreme court, I can't see it being up held at the federal level.  So glad I don't live in that state.  Although i do pay income tax to them

You know too about the tax exemption he wanted to lift that would create an additional sin tax on liquor and candy... it's pretty funny actually.  And the fact you can't buy alcohol on Sundays is very puritanical.  As much as I LOVE Boston, I hate Mass government.  It's the biggest bunch of paternalistic creeps I've ever seen.

I wonder if they'll use the money for that disaster they call the big dig?  They'll tell the media that they need the NH tax money to make the big dig safer.  That way they won't have to hold up 8 ton blocks of concrete with Elmer's glue and finish nails that comes crashing down on a mother of four at 2 the morning. IT'S A JOKE!!!  And how about plugging some of those holes in the tunnel.  Wrap in goretex or something, would ya?! 

Next from Duval... the air tax.  Beginning in 2010, all infants will be implanted with lung meters to be read, recorded, and reported to the state during mandatory 6 month physicals.  The volume of air consumed will be computed and taxed annually.  This is in addition to the clean air tax imposed on fossil fuel vehicles with engines great than 300cc...  blah blah blah blah blah

  Mass guy here but I 100% agree with you guy's on this one this state S&*k#. Well not State but our Goverment. And by the way that was funny as hell  8)

Here is an idea for you MA residents. You don't have a meals tax, so when you eat in NH just show your DL and get exempt from the meal tax. It should be a two way street right.

Who the heck even thought of this idea? Then who allowed it to get to this point??? You want to talk about a total waste of resources. This is what your tax money is going for, people to come up with lame ideas like this. i should have been a politician.

Would EVERY store in NH have to ask for an ID before ringing up EVERY purchase?

Barney Frank wants to impose a salary cap on executives, not just on those in companies that are taking bailout money, but EVERY COMPANY IN AMERICA! I think this jacka$$ has his head so far up his a$$, that he's not getting enough O2.
This also on top of thier plan to add a "$92,000.00 petty cash" stipulation to the state's budget. HUH?

Not to sound too extreme, but these guys are like broodstock salmon that are past their productive years: they need to thrown out (or thrown away)!!!

It's inflation... it happens I guess.  I don't see it as a big deal.  Most of us probably waste more money on crap at the Deerfield Fair or on Dunkins coffee every week.  Besides, if you have enough money to buy a boat and can afford to put gas in it, what is $46 to register it?  As it is, I pay $23 to register a 10' jon boat... I get by.

No where to run. Mass sucks and getting worse by the day, it's all getting worse everywhere by the day. They tried the Boston Tea Party this year (08) but the media wouldn't cover it. Can't run to iceland, they just overthrough their gov for the same reason.
