new guy:
after fishing waterbury for the last 8 days, im losing my mind catching dink perch,catfish,bass,pumpkinseeds,etc....need some real fish to cook up. im thinking cowbanks but im unsure of where im going.i know you go over sandbar causeway and park at marina on right, but after that....? i assume you head north toward cedar island but how far am i going out? and what other critters are hanging in that area? any info is appreciated, as is my wife is suspecting i hang out at planet rock watching strippers since i fish all day and bring home sh%t! thanks

dend54:
Go to the left after that little point about 150 200 yards and about 75 to 150 yards off shore and set up right under the ice to about 15 feetdown with mono leaders on yor tip ups with a number 6 hook and a small golden for bait or jig with a sweedish pimple. Keelers bay is also another good choice for salmon.
