Was blowing hard from the North yesterday and the ice edge was moving south at a considerable clip.

Regarding those coyotes hunting deer on the ice...I was out on GSL last weekend and a coyote came flying by us out in the middle of the lake. Didn’t see a deer but have to wonder now if he was on his way to a meal

Last year an eagle absolutely murdered a seagull right outside of my shanty.  The noises were insane.

The seagull made a little noise before the falcon grabbed it and slammed it into the ice. It didn't even move after that

Goin' where the wind don't blow so strange,
Maybe off on some high cold mountain chain.

If that’s accurate everything south of the narrows should lock up. Hopefully it builds

So many eagles in southern ny lately along the Delaware it’s crazy when on ice around the ponds there you can throw every fish you catch onto the ice and eagles will swoop down for just about all of them if your fat enough away, awesome creatures

Now who’s fishin this weekend????

As heavy as this snow is I’m not sure wind can move it
