Love the colors on that one Berkley4life.

Baby perch, smelt, and a baby sunny, now that is quite the spread. Text book opportunist at work.

We caught a bunch of lakers on Saturday that were barfing up tons of smelt before we sent them back.  Interesting thing was that the smelt ranged from tiny ones 3" up to the 6" range which tells me that there must be a really nice population out there.  At times, we were sitting on huge schools of them that probably covered half and acre. Amazing fishery.

That wind in the morning was no joke, my buddy and I were in his two man flip over and I thought we were going to fly away... Crazy day but good laker fishing, we put some miles on out feet tho, walking a ways from where we parked and bouncing around, I bet we walked 6 miles start to finish which wasn't to bad on glare ice

We got out before sunrise and thankfully my 6x8 didnt fly away....we thought it was going to!

Old buddy of mine drove 2.5 hours from central Mass with a blizzard threatening to fish with me on the King yesterday. He's the guy(along with his Dad) who got me into ice fishing 36 years ago. Haven't fished with him in a looooong time.
Had a good day, limited out on good perch and he was on the road by 2:30. Made it home just as the storm was cranking up.
Ice was really moving when that sun came out.
Good day out on the ice. Great to hook up with old friends.

Went out of there Saturday and it's in great shape.  I always park up top and ride down but people were parked in the lower lots.  We'll see what happens after this snowfall if they decide to plow again :-\
Hey slipbob, how much ice were you on out there? Thanks

Awesome video lowaccord. Seeing all of that snow blowing across the ice, that wind looked pretty gnarley.

A few lakers from a week ago. Did a quick edit just to show how possible
It is to land insane numbers in one outing. This is three lakers in 9 minutes with 2 missed hook ups. After the first fish I adjust my angle, sorry for the first minute of just the flip over, lol. I'm hoping to put together a decent video at the end of the season, untill then I'll put up some footage. Notice I'm not very talkative, makes for a boring clip. In time I'll become more camera friendly I'm sure. Watch how these lakers rocket off bottom on the vex.

Lol I know it red, You are definetly correct about giving up some helpful info. I was contemplating puting it up for sure. Things change with these fish though and location is the biggest factor.  It's been explained Atleast 100 times on this thread how to catch them so I figured it wouldn't matter to much. More for the guys that say it's not possible lol.

I was just wondering if anyone has been finding any big gills or sunfish around or maybe can point me in the rite direction.  Water depths and areas this time of the year. I ran into them pretty good last yr late season but can't seem to find one this yr!! Any pointers are appreciated. Thanks in advance! Pm if needed.

Anyone know how much snow is on the lake after this storm? It was real nice to drag the sled on glare ice, hopefully the wind helps and blows some snow off the lake

I made it out from 9-1 and managed 14. The bite was real hot when that first band of snow came through.  All were right around 23-25". Nothing photo worthy but wanted to try out a GoPro I've had laying around. Wasn't much snow on the ice  when I headed off either, was a pretty stiff breeze blowing it all down the lake. One more thing, can anyone reccomend any real sticky hooks, not overly happy with the amount of hookups I'm missing, time to swap out some trebles.
