Anybody know if you can drive a sled through the tunnel under the road from the parking lot at MDB this year? Was all fenced off last year.

Thanks!

Was out jigging Lakers today and kept having them throw hooks while they were doing head shakes. I have 10# braid with 12# floro leader. What I am wondering is should I get a little more stretch in my line somewhere or if it's just not enough flex in rod tip. It feels like I need a little more shock abrorbtion somewhere.

just came off of MDB you can go under the bridge or park on the ice 100 plus trucks and cars. The snow is deep and places of slush.the snow is all tore up if it freezes like that what a mess.and the fish won't bite.

Yeah I was going to just get some new hooks tomorrow. It was ridiculous today I lost 5 today all near the hole when they were head shaking real bad.

The bigger one I lost Saturday was the same deal...head shake at the hole. I'm sure that perch jig isn't very sharp,it's been on for probably the last 4 trips  ::)

Yeah it was frustrating they just kept popping off. Also had something big hit 15' under the ice in 70 feet of water, saw a mark realed up to it and got smacked, screamed drag and ripped the pole out of my hand, when I picked it back up it was gone. If there was any salmon in lake George I would swear that was what it was.

You can probably make it, but its gonna be a rough ride!!! Whole south end of the lake is ripped up from wheelers and snowmobiles. Below zero so its a frozen now.

15' down coulda been a laker or even a pike, have caught many lakers just under the ice and on rare occasion people get pike under the ice over deep water

Maybe a pike I guess never heard of them up high in deeper water but I guess, just didn't act like a trout to me the way it took off right after the strike.

Sounded like it was a Salmon, they run after a strike.
