Buddy heater elevation question?
« on: Dec 13, 2007, 12:52 PM »
I am in the market for a heater for the portable & I would like to get a Buddy heater.  BUT... the only problem is most the areas I fish are over 7000' elevation & it does not recommend the use of them at that altitude.  Will it still work if I am at or higher than that elevation?  If not, what are some other heater recommendations that I can USE above 7000'?

I would guess that's due to the low oxygen sensor and having less oxygen in the atmosphere at altitude, it probably won't work correctly.  Any propane catalyst or sunflower (open burner) heater should work fine.
