Bought a kawasaki mule xc fi and am needing to get some tire chains.  Never had any.  What type and style are the best?

Whatever v bar chains you can find. Can't go wrong really. Just don't install them upside down with the Vs facing the tire.

Yup can pick them up at most farm and fleet type stores. get some trucker bungee cords to and put them on the outside like in this pic helps alot with them slipping off.

You should be able to get the right size for your tires. It'll help during install to remove the tire valve for full deflation, mount the chains as tight as possible w/o straining, re install the valve & air up your tires. I don't use bungies to take up the slack since the inflated tires do that. ;)

If you haven't got them yet, go for the 2 link versus 4 link.  You end up with twice as many biting edges, worth the extra expense.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-PAIR-2-Link-TIRE-CHAINS-26x11x12-fits-many-Polaris-Sportsman-Scrambler-ATV-/272922332827
