Heres my initial review of the new Rigid Octane Hammer Drill with  Best In Class 1300 in/lb of torque. I used this with my 4 year old 8" Nils Trekker Auger. This combo is a BEAST!! Check it out if your looking to get into a drill for ice fishing!!

40, 7-8" of ice. Had just turned to 3/4 charge at the end of the day.

I got mine through Home Depot online. Not sure if it was online only. If you put the 9ah battery/charger kit, and the drill in your cart it should automatically apply the promo. Thinking there may only be a few weeks left.

Thank you for the review.  Is anybody aware of an adapter for this setup for a fin bore bit?  Perhaps the ht enterprises adapter may fit it appears.

Had one buddy buy one and try it, now another buddy has one on order. Guess the are working well. I'm half tempted to get one ha ha, guess the red drill will have to do!

I did a quick search, and only found a few basic adaptors. HT being one of them.

If you already have a Milwaukee, then it’s prob not worth getting this one. The warranty is what sold me.

Wow. i wish i had ice fishing in mind when i purchased my drill. Tried it with 2mah batteries and didnt get too far haha!

I did as well with my Milwaukee 500 in lb. 5 is recommend. Have heard people getting away with 4s.
