Garmin panoptix setup tips

Ordered my son and I the panoptix ice bundle today for our upcoming south Dakota trip.  Any tips on setting up the unit or settings to help get started.

Does Garmin have their Operators Manual on-line?  That should give the basics.

Unless you need it, turn interference rejection off in pantopix menu.  I also turn trails off. In the 2d sonar menu, set the scroll speed to ultra.
