Walleye in NW wisconsin
« on: Feb 11, 2018, 06:30 PM »
Buddies and I will be heading up to the Spooner area for our annual 4 day fishing trip. We typically target crappie on gull lake but are wanting to find some walleye. Any suggestions on which lakes we should start on? Thanks in advanced

Shell lake is not bad for walleye.

Thanks Eric! I am not looking for your honey hole or anything, but any tips? Baits? Jigs? Tip ups? We really haven't done any walleye fishing through the ice. Any tips would be awesome?!

If you fish Shell Lake, the walleyes have moved out deep. Long Lake has been decent for walleye lately 15-20 along weed edges.
