I'll be walkin right there next to you jkw.  Maybe we could team up and drag together.  Hitchhiking is always an option.  The only problem I have with that is if we get dropped off a good ways from shore and have to get back for fuel or whatever it could be a problem.  Its going to be real cold so we need to take extra precautions.

How deep does the snow get? iv got a pretty well built offroad buggy. As long as there isnt 10 foot drifts. Wonder if i could drive to one of the lodges..... ???

You can drive to the lodges with a 2 WD truck most of the time. When conditions are right, you can go just about anywhere on the lake system. When the conditions are wrong, you might be up the creek if you know what I mean.
What kind of buggy do you have?

1 of a kind mid 80s dodge pick up. Once i figure out how to post pics ill put a pic or 2 up...

When I think of buggies..... this is what I think of. Built it myself in NM.



Rarely see trucks on the ice except for a few short weekends during SOME spring weather.

Unless people have a password to 4X4network, they cannot see it. I thought that buggy was still on the Kenai. Pretty spendy to get it to LL and run it for a weekend. Unless there is more snow, it would get around.
