The last hurrah ???

Started at 3:30 with 5" of clear ice, quit at 7:00 and had lost another inch. Think it's over

Nice catch, I took the afternoon off and made it out also first lake I went had about 4" left and going pretty fast I was catching a few but got chased off by lightening ice was getting iffy anyway went another lake that I didn't do so well but at 5:30 when I left there was still 6.5" of rock hard ice my cleats didn't even penetrate but there was about 2" of water on top and windy so I don't know if it will hold out or not.

Oh thats a good sight a mess of specs on the ice, but I will say you are giving up to easily grasshooper. Friday going to be back to ice fishing weather. single digits. :tipup:
