Helen regulating reservoir road plowed

Does anyone know if the road headed to the reservoir has been plowed? I don't have a truck and wasn't able to pass through due to the drifts last week. Just to save some time driving out there. Thanks.

There's still a couple hundred foot section of two-track that could provide some clearance issues for a car and it's pretty slick. However, it's only about a 1/4 mile drag from the pavement to the boat launch.

The fishing was good last weekend for us and those we talked to.  As usual the bites came in spurts, most between 15-25 ft. Tons of tiny perch which you can avoid by fishing 6+ feet off bottom. Hope this helps.

I emailed FWP on Tuesday about this and received a reply saying that the irrigation district would probably plow the road this week.

Cool, thanks. It hadn't occurred to me that HVID was responsible for plowing there.

you can get in there today there where a lot of people today,but it no fish where biting . a couple of dink perch in5 hours of fishing and everyone I talked to told me the same.
