for those of you who fish Hoods Pond, just an FYI. The State seems to have dragged the pond and have been treating it several times in June and at least once so far this month to rid the pond of invasive weeds. 99% of the lily pads are gone. I've been able to catch a few dink bass and have not caught a pickerel since they started this program. I hate the damned thigs but they fight good.
