Walleye Dermal Sarcoma

Do you guys have issues with this? I caught a few with this condition last spring. Here is a fact sheet with one of the photos I took.

I've seen this on and off with Oneida Lake walleye.  I have to say it's been a while since I caught one with this.

I have seen this on walleye's out of Lake Erie.  The guides in the area said that it was just warts.  They said that evey once it a while the get fish with this, but it was not an every day thing.

That is interseting Esox. I have never run into that on walleyes in the Rocky Mountain area. Sounds like it doesnt kill the fish though. Guess if you caught a wall hanger the taxidermist might have to clean that up a bit. LOL!
