I went by Watermans, Spring Lake, Wilsons, Echo Lake, and Wakefield Pond...  there was no one on the ice.  I'm still waiting until Saturday.  I talked to a guy that lives on Wilson's today.  He fished Saturday (to the right of the boat ramp), and said he had 6 inches of ice.  I'm going to try there Saturday. :tipup:

No pike...  decent bass and a ton of whips.  I'm more of a bass fishermen than pike...  but where is a decent place to pike fish in Northern RI?  Maybe Wallum Lake?  I know Echo Lake is OK, but it's hit or miss.

I'm going to give stump a try this year.  Has anyone ever fished the other side of 116 from Stump Pond...  behind the police station?  I use to live on the Lower Sprague Reservoir in Smithfield, which is on Indian Run Trail, and that also has some good bass fishing.

bassri there are fish there but the ice shifts is safe but moves alot.

Pretty good Fishing there but like anywhere else some days are slow.BE Careful out there after this rain and warm air./went out today good ice but we call it heartattack ice.6inches of frozen snow and slush with the void between that and 2 to 3 inches of ice.BE SAFE NOT STUPID

I fish behind the police station an its hot or cold,a big one or a bunch of pickeral an a bass here or there,my bud lived on totem pole trail on lower sprague pretty good fishin lotta weeds though...
