My problem with the lithium shuttle is the proprietary battery via Marcum..weird size ...and not certain Marcum has any left and/or will be making more. I went with two lithiums from Amped Outdoors ...site sponsor ..note your going to need a specific charger.

My bud runs a mega 7 with a 12v 15amp lithium and gets 2 full days plus , he called the company , 15amp is over kill but he caught a great sale
Remember your back light draws down your power ,I have an older 5 I turn down the back light and makes a huge difference, plus your gps is always looking for signal so it’s drawing
 Hope this helps
I get 2 days out of my lx7 shuttle

Unless you want the added features of the shuttle, a better choice would be the amped 12 amp and their charger.

I have the shuttle since its first came out.
No complaints and going strong. I like it and will add a battery topside when its time for a replacement battery.

The reason my bud is running a 15amp he caught a deal for $70
He’s also not running a shuttle with his mega 7 in the ice pack  boat to ice graph
I’m sure a 10amp lithium will do the job
I just picked up 2 12v 10amp batteries for a $100 with chargers , for my spare units

I run my 5 backlight at 1/2 in the shack it’s more than enough for these tired old eyes , from my understanding your GPS is always looking for a signal , and look for other things to turn down or off ,
