So Oak,There aren't any with any size to them in Quaker then? LOL. We camp there a couple times every summer and I never take the canoe. That will change. But like I said it's hard to set up for trout in a lake that has good pike in it.Thanks for the link.Dave
Dave,The day those pics were from I had 4 tip-up out. Two were rigged for trout and two for pike so I was covering all the bases. I also had two jigging poles which I only caught pike on. Best bet is to try to catch everything in one trip ! Actually the difference in distance from where the trout were caught to where the pike were caught is 50 yards so you really can fish for everything in one trip.
Bobman, where are the trout in this place? in deeper or shallower?
I'm a big fat man with a lot of gear you know you are fat if the back of your neck looks like a package of hot dogs nothing personal
Bobman,What do you use for bait for the Trout?
hooked, thanks for the heads up.is there going to be ice on quaker this weekend?me and some buddies are going, already have a cabin at the state park so we'll either be fishing or drinking.
