MARCH 9th, 8am to 4pm. With camp out afterwards. Gathering will be held out from million dollar beach in lake George. Ice condition dependent.

Volunteer list:

Augustwest- plastic cups and bowls

02rmk800- plastic silverware, propane tank, stew, small folding table.

Prchslyr- Oscars meat

Iceneck9292- chili, meat, firewood

Fidlerontheice- paper towels

Mbrown4- soda

BraapNTrap- soda

Uglystickjake- chips w/chili cheese dip, bear carving, hot dog rolls.

Roundlakeny- grill, radio

Mikerudy- marinated venison, pans

Still looking for:
Folding table
Hot dog hamburger rolls
Condiments
Aluminum foil
Couple pans for cooking

Still waiting for a couple people to pm back about things. If you got something you want to bring or something you think we should have pm me and I will add it.

Check back on this thread often as it will be getting updated and changes often. Lets. Hope we have good ice and as a good of a time as we had last year.

My buddy and I were planning a 2 day trip to Lake George this season...this would be a great opportunity to enhance the experience...may we be invited as well

Not sure yet I guess Saturday into Sunday. Worked out ok last year.

Thanks for getting the ball rolling man.
The later date would definitely be better for me. I also understand you gotta time it with the best ice though.
Hopefully all works out well and I'm there with both of my boys.
I think it was 3 seasons ago we had it at Million Dollar Beach. The fishing was slow for us, but the parking and access is good.
As long as the food and conversation is good. We don't need much else.
I can score some meat at Oscars. They're good to me. Count me in for a few pounds of meat.
I think I'll spare everyone a prank this year.

Also my farm carrys a lot of ocars products (devoes orcarhds in clifton park rt9next to the wallmart) we have more then mustsard cheeses brauts bacon and more just tell them andrew sent you from ice shanty. Its my grandparents farm so u can def. Count on me bringing some and if anyone wants me to pic them up some just let me know ! Cant wait to get out with u guys again and best part I turn 21 on the 7th so its my bday weekend gonna be a lot of fun

Doesn't have as good parking as MDB.

My brother and I will be joining you all! I believe at bolton parking would be an issue. It isn't the biggest parking lot at veterans park.

If wedo it at mdb I think the turn out would be a lot better a lot of people can get there with porblem fishing may not be as good as some other spots on the lake but the place still has fish in it

2 years ago we set up in that first little cove to the right. It definitely made it easy for everyone to get out there and find us.
Bird21s wasn't too far from us that day and crushed the perch.
Maybe if we offer him lunch he won't mind us creeping up on his spot.

ya know, if you pass out in a chair, you could catch a sausage of a certain variety on a tipup. Seen it happen once.

is there gonna be some of capt jj,s bacon egg and cheese sandwiches there ....? think it was 2 years ago... boy they were good ... i brought some bear burger chili dip... definitely think I'm in.... with plenty of that dip to go around !!!!

Perch bite was good in Huddle Bay Sunday...true about the parking though. This sounds like a fun event..I'll keep an eye on the thread.
