they only have that little drainage pit open! between tioroti and silvermine! lol .. that is nothing but a drainage ditch along seven lakes drive! Fair warning to anyone not familiar with the park.. it is too small to hold much of anything let alone a keeper... complete joke! feel sorry for those who don't know better and waiste expensive gas going there to find out! NOT WORTH ICEFISHING NAWAHUNTA ! The name Nawahunta is Mohegan for " place of trout" .. but I seriously doubt it has trout even stockies..too shallow imo says it is 7 to 10ft deep... unless of coarse it is manged for stockies which is highly unlikely. probably get small sunfish dink perch and small pkl lmb but i wouldn't waiste gas going there
i have caught largemouth there to 5 pounds, but i haven't fished it in 15 years, or more. no trout are stocked there.
How do you access rockland lake? thinking of going there on Saturday.
If anyone is on Welch tomorrow, come say hello. I have an orange bucket and will be jigging off the islands>
lake welch is finally opened for ice fishing. i spoke to them this morning & they finally opened it. sebago is still closed , they said there is still opened water there.i don;t think they will ever open sabago because they said there is streams running threw the lake. walt
Lake Welch is closed as of saturday morning. It was open yesterday, we went this morning and there is a red flag. Blue Lake is still open.
I didnt see your post about the orange pants untill I got home. Pooley and I are were right next to you. I think we actually talked to you on the way off the ice. We got out there late. I got a bass and he got a perch. That one guy sure had a nice perch hole. Your bass was a monster.
