Not to steal yer post....but what's weird, my crabapple tree has been full of Robins since January....!!!
I've never, ever seen that in the 20 years that tree has been there; had it full of Cedar Waxwings
a couple years back, but not robins. Appears they never flew south or wherever they go. However, after watching the stoopid things continually fly into all my windows all year, I've concluded they are not the sharpest birds in the Avian world either.
Now, I'll second the blackened catfish! Might be able to break thru the ice and noodle a few.
